Repairing existing timber fascia
Using Fascia Fix is the quickest and easiest way to repair cracked or open gaps in fascia joints. Simply slide the appropriate joiner in position and nail in place to achieve a permanent repair.
Not having to use fillers and then sanding the affected joints makes the whole process so much quicker.
For use on new timber
Fitting Fascia Fix to new timber fascia at time of construction, will protect the joints against the adverse effects of weather therefore reducing costly maintenance and repairs in the future. Joints that open up because of structural settlement or natural timber movement, if capped will retain an unblemished appearance.
Capping external corners with Fascia Fix removes the need to mitre cut timber – this will shorten completion time.
A stronger joint will result through butting and nailing the fascia at corners. This joint is more able to resist structural movement. There is also less likelihood of the nails causing the timber to split.
Using Fascia Fix can make for more efficient use of timber. Short lengths of fascia that might previously have been discarded, can now be used.
